Through the years Ascot Mews has caught the eye of the press on many occasions with magazine articles featuring in the likes of You and Huisgenoot, The Drum and numerous local papers. We have also appeared on SABC 2 and 3, KykNET and Top Billing, and have been the venue of choice for a few celebrity weddings.


We never host more than one Wedding at a time. Our magnificent gardens are perfect for photo opportunities as well as the perfect setting for our Gretna Green Chapel, Garden Aisle Wedding Venue and the Copper Leopard Function Room, our Venue is able to accommodate a maximum of 200 guests. We are also able to cater for more intimate Weddings, Impulse Weddings and Breakfast Weddings (in our Duck Pond Venue, Dining Room or Crested Barbet Venue. Secured parking is available for all guests on the premises of Ascot Mews.

The Copper Leopard Function Venue.


A picturesque venue that is ablaze with warm welcoming lights and together with the high pitched thatch roof, rustic warmth is radiated from the brickwork and earthy woodwork in the room to create a unique atmosphere. This is a stylish room by day and simply magical by night. Tucked into the corner of the Copper Leopard is a fully stocked bar, fireplace and rock pool. The room can accommodate a maximum of 200 guests, depending on your need for a dance floor.


The Duck Pond Function Room.


An intimate warm room that is thatched and carpeted and seats a maximum of 50 guests. The space does not allow for dancing but the room leads onto a picturesque courtyard garden complete with a duck pond which is ideal for Photography and socializing.



We do offer a bridal dressing room, where the bride can relax and get ready for her big day!

Many brides prefer to use this option as it avoids the extra stress of transport to the venue.


As a gift to our bridal couple, we also supply the honeymoon suite for the evening of their wedding, just to add that extra special touch! The honeymoon suite does not include breakfast.


In addition, Ascot Mews offers 14 distinctively decorated standard rooms and 2 exquisite executive en-suite suites for wedding guests traveling from far or who would prefer not to drive home. All are equipped with TV’s, safes, toiletries, toweling gowns, mini bars, etc. A full English breakfast is served the next morning.
